Healthy eating starts with healthy ingredients. If Greek gods dined on figs and pomegranates, that is a telling sign that we should follow their lead. Figs are filled with calcium, fiber, and antioxidant. What’s unique about figs also are that each one contains the perfect portion of magnesium. Pomegranates on the other hand are high in vitamin C, vitamin K, and folate. These two fruits together can help reduce inflammation while boosting metabolism.
“These two fruits [figs and pomegranate] together can help reduce inflammation while boosting metabolism. ”
No wonder Greek gods look the way they do.
